After years of selling other people's exhaust for V Twin motorcycles, we slowly developed a product unlike anything our industry has ever seen.
We know how important your bike is to you and we know that the last thing you want to do is buy three different sets of slip ons just to get your bike sound the way you wanted it to.
Knowing that quality could never be questioned was our first step. Finding a way to make a product that was unique came next and that part that took time. The idea for our trademarked Tri-Power 3 in 1 baffle system came after many hours dyno testing other leading brands of exhaust. It was clear that there was a wide array of different sounding exhaust, but often times people would buy multiple sets before settling on one. We wanted to take the guess work out out and sell people the right pipes the first time.
No other pipe performs as well or offers the sound options like Penn Steel Works. Sure, we could have sold pipes just on the sound options alone, lots of companies already do that. That wasn't what we were here to do though. It was important to us to make sure that they performed well too. Often, pipes that sounded the best lacked restriction and didn't perform great. Other pipes were mellow, but made good power. For us, the key to this venture was taking the guess work out and making the last pipe you'll ever buy. If we ignored the performance we would end up losing customers somewhere. Luckily for you that's not the case.
